• This project combines beauty and special effects. At the beginning of the storyline, the actress Claire(Eve)  looks very healthy and tidy, then slowly starts to look tired, with light bags underneath her eyes, and pale skin. Later on, Claire starts to get so weak and looks emaciated with depth shadow and highlights to make it look realistic.
  

This Too Shall Pass  - American Film Institute, March 1st - 3rd, 2025, Agua Dulce, CA

• As the Head of the Makeup Department, I met with Kai Pooler to discuss the Jewish camper storyline, the makeup looks, and the vomit scene. I did mostly natural corrective makeup looks along with a tad of dirt, sweats, and styling hairstyles. I also created a vomit with a few of the food's ingredients (ingestion safe) so the actor could hold it in his mouth and have it naturally fall out of his mouth.

I Do, I Do  - American Film Institute, February 22nd & 24th, 2025, Los Angeles, CA

• I talked directly with the director about the script and characters. I also discussed makeup looks with my assistant Mattea Ghaffery on the first day of filming. We both created natural beauty makeup along with half-up and half-down curly hair for the main character (Qinwen the bride). We also did a natural male grooming on Austin the groom, and a natural male grooming on the best man Scott, as well as fake neck, and hand alcohol-based temporary tattoos.

Field Party - American Film Institute, February 1st - 3rd, 2025, Fillmore, CA

• I had a several meeting with the director Rachel Deutsch and the producer Jana about the serious 2008 storyline along with multiple characters' makeup/hairstyles looks. I created multiple natural beauty makeup and hairstyle looks for two main characters - Ashley (Caige Coulter) as well as couples minimum natural beauty makeup and hairstyling on Nona (Ronni Hinch) including a little bit of special effects makeup. I freehanded painted fresh bruises on Nona’s arm/hand and shoulder as well as scrapped her knee with fresh blood.

What About Us Deaf Education in Crisis  - Documentary, January 7th & February 22nd, 2025, Los Angeles CA

As head of the Makeup Department, my responsibility was to ensure the host/director, as well as the interpreter and some guest speakers, looked camera-ready. I also would be standing by watching the monitor, jumping in whenever I needed to alter the hair a little bit or touch up the host's makeup a little bit.

Secret Muse - Short Film, January 4th, 2025, Los Angeles CA

• Head Special Effect Makeup Department for this project. I had a couple meeting with the director to discussed about “leathery-look alike” prosthetics. I ended up using realistic leather gloves and cuts those up into some smallest to large sizes “veiny-strips” pieces so I could applied around the actor’s hands to make it looks like the leathers is taking over.

Anything Without You - American Film Institute, November 24th, 2024, Los Angeles CA

• Afternoon half-day 1950’s black and white filming project. I discussed with director Rachel Deutsch about the storyline with multiple makeup changes looks. I did 1950s vintage brush-out curls hairstyles, along with 50’s natural makeup looks with red lips and glossy lips, and light pink lipstick (makeup changes each scene) on the main character Clementine (Anja Racić). I did very light male correction grooming on another main character Joel (Peter Winkelmann) as well male 1950s era hairstyle with some of his natural curls hanging off on the right side of his face above the eyebrow, with gels slick rest of his hair back

Yannick and the Crow - American Film Institute, November 24th, 2024, Los Angeles CA

• Half-day black and white filming project. As a head makeup artist, I did male grooming on our lead actor Yannick (Vj Kesh), I also added some grey/blackish onto his white beard to make it pop in a black and white film. As well as touches up powders throughout the morning. I also added some fake blood onto “crow” props (for the crow to “crash” into the window scene.

Healing - American Film Institute, November 9th-11th, 2024, Los Angeles CA

• Head Makeup artist for this film. I discussed with Producer Yoona Yiqian Wang and Director ShengJ Yang about the storyline and makeup looks for each scene. I sketched “messy/ insane” hair and makeup looks for a specific scene of a burning down building. I also touch up all four lead actors during the day. I also curl two lead ladies ’ actors’ hair at the beginning of the day on set and touch up curls post-lunch.

Dirty Dishes - American Film Institute, November 4th, 2024, Los Angeles CA 

• Last minutes gig, showed up on wrap day with copies of continuing photos of the lead actors. I copied exact hairstyles and natural makeup looks from the pictures that were given to me by the productor and hair & makeup artist, I also touched up here and there on set during the day.

Day Of The Dead - Weary Livers Bar, November 1,  2024, Santa Monica,  CA

• I assisted Marianne Beer in doing sugar skull face painting. We had three papers with pictures showing a few different types of sugar skull face painting looks. We also discussed with all clients which sugar skull, colors, and whether they wanted a half-face or a whole face.

Horse Killer - 48 Hours Film Festival, October 26, 27th, 2024, Sylmar, Los Angeles CA

• Key Special Effect Makeup Artist Position. I did six natural makeup applications on all six actors, as well as one lead actor (Andres Losoya). I also added specks of dirt and some types of blood around the throat and arms, along with deep dark-tone cream on top of liquid blood to give it a realistic look.  I also prepaint a prosthetic leg into it looks like it's been chopped off and bloody.

No Beds Available - American Film Institute, October 12-14th, 2024, Los Angeles 

• Hair & Makeup artist for black and white film project. I discussed with the director Danting Chen about the characters and storyline. I created two makeup/hair looks for lead actors Andrea (Tepeyolotzin Ana Saldana) with tight slick-back high hairbun. Rita (Erica Ortega) with curly hair down and some white paints onto roots. Both makeup has little opposite color lipstick, eyeshadows, and highlights/blush tones for black and white film. I also did a few background actors corrections/powders little bits to help their bone structures pop in black and white.

Fleur Pour LA Dame - Short Film, October 4th, 11th, and 25th 2024, Santa Monica, CA 

• My position was Hair & Makeup, and my main focus was on two lead characters.  I did a white base on Fantôme (Monroe Black) upper body and face along with a couple of black graphic eyeliner. I straightened out a lace front wig, applied it onto Undertaker (Jett Black), and did a heavy dark tone of bags underneath the eyes.

QueerX Awards 2024 - RevryTV, September 15, 2024, Los Angeles, CA 

• I assisted Gabriela Banda the Head Makeup Department. My main focus was to watch both hosts Daniel Franzese, Percy Rustomji, and musician Zee Machine, & his band makeup and do touch-ups with powder puffs/towels to dry off sweat and powders with translucent powder.

Raffie Howard’s - Quinceanera Birthday Party, August 25, 2024, Burbank, CA 

• I worked with Alexa Althen, consulting with Kat, Clint Howard, and their daughter Raffie for Raffie’s quinceanera makeup looks. Alexa did two makeup tests on Raffie and I sketched makeup looks onto face charts - and had Raffie approve a couple of glam makeup looks. We also planned out 8 stations for Raffie and her guests, along with a few ready-to-go touches-up bags.

Freddy Kruger - Fine Dining Podcast, August 18, 2024, Burbank, CA 

• I created/molded two bald caps from scratch, and pre-paints a couple of prosthetics. Alexa Althen and I were tag-team doing the Freddy Kruger onto the host Michael and his special guest.  We applied, smoothed out the edges, and filled in the colors. Did some touches-up after they ate “dinner”.

Poppy - 48 Hours Film Festival, August 2-4, 2024, Los Angeles, CA 

• This is a competitive film festival, I am the Head Make-Up Artist for this project. I worked alongside the director Kyle Huerta and Assistant Director Alexis Salem, to discuss the genre and read over the script together. I created a natural “masquerade” everyday makeup look for the lead character (Poppy  Huffman), and redness around under the eyes including some sweat sprayed onto the face of the co-lead character (Colton Huffman).

Hoop Boy - Web-Series Pilot, July 14, 2024, Pasadena, CA 

• My position is Key Speical Effect Makeup Artist. I freehand created a fresh bruises onto left temple on face including with some blood drooping down. I designed and test run few injuries looks based off the script and discussion with the director Joshua Mesnik about what we wanted in the  film. I also did little bit of hair too, dutch braids onto (Zach) a lead character and half up in tight ponytail and half down curly/wavy for (Jessaria) second lead character. 

HUNTER - Horror Short Film, June 15, 2024, Los Angeles, CA 

• I discussed with a director a couple of weeks before the filming and planned out the special effects fx makeup looks. I applied a swollen eye prosthetic onto the killer, including dirty scars/blisters all over both arms. I also used a gallon of blood for splatters, all over the main character Daphne’s dress. I also created several small stabbing injuries(cuts) around Hunter's chest/stomach with 3rd degree silicone and thick blood/liquid blood.

Clint Howard’s Characters -Clint Howard’s Surprise Birthday, April 20, 2024, Burbank, Los Angeles, CA 

• Clint Howard’s wife Kat Howard found me and told me all her incredible surprise ideas for Clint. I worked along with Alexa Althen, we were both key makeup artists on this project, planning out all the characters' look-alike makeup of Clint from a few of his iconic movies. I recreated Mr. Baggy Britches' makeup look from the “3 From Hell” movie. I also started doing Rughead from “The Wraith” hair then Alexa finished off with the basic corrections and shading. 

CASA - CSUN CTVA Thesis Film, March 21 -24 & April 5-7 & 12, 2024, Mailbu, Los Angeles, CA 

• My position was Head Makeup Department. I had three assistants worked along for me. I would create few specific drag/beauty make-up looks for a lead character (Virginia) and create a minimal burn (SFX) for left hand on a lead character (Brigham) and male groomings makeup looks following the scripts. I had my assistants do mostly touches-up and do extras actors makeups looks. I would also mentor my assistants doing couple main characters actors makeup looks too.

Miss Saskatoon 1988 - Amcerican Film Institute, March 23rd & 24th, 2024, Los Angeles, CA 90027

• My position was Hair & Makeup Artist. I was provided with a mood board from the producer. There were a specific character they assigned me to focus on mostly which is 80’s Punk (Raven), I did base and thick black eyeliners along with black glossy shine lipstick. I also assist with touches up on other main characters too on set.

Menthol - Short Film, March 16, 2024, Longwood Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90019

• My position was Key Makeup Artist. I was provided with a mood board from the director. There were six makeup applications, I created a specific everyday stylish queer look on a lead non-binary actor and also did a rougher drug addict look on another lead actor. Also did light corrections onto four extra background actors. 

Turkey Medicine - Short Film, March 15 -17, 2024, La Crescenta, CA, 91214

• I was a Key Makeup Artist on a short film for Turkey Medicine for all filming days March 15 and 17th. I sat down with the director and spoke about makeup look plans, I did natural beauty/male grooming on three lead actors and applied a turkey wattle foam prosthetic onto one of the lead actors. 

NCL Fashion Show - The Casino, San Clemente, CA 92672 - March 10, 2024

• I followed the inspiration board that was given to me by the producer of the fashion show. I did natural glow beauty with light tones eyeshadows/ full face makeup looks on three models.

Lady Ducks Fashion Show - The Westin Anaheim Resort, Anaheim, CA 92802 - March 4, 2024

• This is the foundation for Anaheim Ducks hockey along with Children’s Hospital of Orange County. I did touch-ups and applied lipsticks on a few lady ducks models, I also did light beauty makeup and hairstyling on a couple of children from the hospital.

Spit Me Out - Santa Clarita, CA - February 28, 2024

• I was an assistant for the Head Make-Up Artist Gabriela Banda for The Barn Movie Musicals short film on the third days of shooting. My responsibility was to do black eyeliner fading into cobalt blue under the eyes of the background dancers’ eyes. I also did a few natural makeup looks on a couple of background extras.

The Quinceanera Killer - Los Angeles, CA - January 13 - 25, 2024

• I was intern for Head Make-Up Artist Marianne Beer for a Lifetime movie at variation locations in Los Angeles from January 13th - January 25. I would do a few of the guest actors’ makeup, clean brushes, and organize the makeup room.

Boy Scouts Disaster Drills - Pacific Palisades, CA 90272 - December 10, 2023

• This was an emergency training for Boy Scouts includes fireman, officers teaching them. I did two amputated legs on youth boys and a third-degrees burns on youth girl both forearms, following the storylines that was given to me by directors and head of makeup.

Dancing with Imagine LA Star - Old Sayers Club, Los Angeles, CA 90028 - November 15, 2023

• I was assigned to work with three ballroom dancers by the director. I consulted with my clients regarding the type of makeup they wanted and did two smokey eyeshadow makeup looks and a male grooming makeup.

Nordstrom NCL Fashion Show - Costa Mesa, CA 92626 - November 12, 2023

• I did a natural glow beauty makeup look on nine models. I followed the request that was given to me by the director and the model’s makeup adjustment requests too.

Nordstrom NCL Fashion Show - Long Beach, CA 90802 - October 15, 2023

• I did five models' makeup/hair regarding the makeup that was given to me by the director and model's makeup requests too. Also, touch up their makeup quickly right before they go onto the stage.

• This was a demo gig, for all directors/producers. I bought my own model and created my own special effects FX burn victim look made out of 3rd Degree (silicone modeling compound)
